Oroginally carnage came from the idea that Eddie Brock WAS GOING TO BE KILLED AND A NEW VENOM WOULD RISE.
Brock's popularity in the marvel universe rose an alternate symbiote was created, hosted by kassidy, carnage was originally going to be named "chaos", "ravage" and then it was settled with carnage....wonder how they came up with carnage? :p it pains me to say this but makes a lot of sense, apparently carnage was a character modled after the joker, yes the dc character.
Carnage has two egos, kassidy and a is nieves. With only one series in which his mad ball character partnered with anyone. It was the maximum carnage series of spiderman where canage meets shriek and together they recruit carrion, and dopplebanger spider man and green goblin.
Carnage is hosted by kassidy who is a homocidal psychopath who thinks "laws are only words". He had a brutal childhood and had no respect for any sort of authority. He was held on rykers island when he was first introduced to the symbiote. A fragment of the suit was left behind after the symbiote came back to save Brock who was kassidys cell are....wonder who was big spoon? :p
Carnage is the character that never dies. The bastard son of venom that comes back just when you think everything is fine and raises all hell. The most violent character of all the marvel universe that is kept alive time and time again. A killer to crazy to understand and a weapon that can never be broken. Carnage was hosted by tanis who was a scientist working for tony stark and used her to get back to Cletus.
