Venom the shot

I was sitting at a local cold soda shop last weekend and it dawned on me that a friend of mine who had been going there for awhile had not created and named a something-something there, so I sat him down as we thought about what would go into this something something what mixes well. I asked him his favourite and he said jäger pretty much. So that was our base to the concoction.

We thought and thought they he read my mind, seriously I was thinkjbg it as well but wasn't sure about how sweet it would be; he said blue carcao. BOOM! We did it up, came out black looking but against the light it had a blue tint...ya you see it now, don't you! ;) I was wearing my spiderman sweater, asked what to call it, he and I decided venom would be the best :) muhahaha so figurative and metaphorical right!?

So ya here it is true believers-

1 part jäger
1 part blue carcao

Ciao for now,

CB

Spiderman is a thing.

Its official, people who don't even know the story of spiderman all that well, love him. He is a fad, a trend and if Marvel keeps going, he will become apart of history.

I bought a full zip hoody of the spiderman outfit. Ya it is soooo amazing! I like to wear it when I go out, everywhere! Unless I knownit will be far too hot (even then I'll leave it in the backseat in my car) or it will get wrecked; I'm wearing it. Before I got this sweater, I had various hats and shirts even shoes that I would proudly represent more than others (band shirts, classic white high top converse, beer hats, plaid shirts, etc.) for awhile I was representing a deadly pair of ostrich skin leather, croc print cowboy boots. These boots were part of my bar ensemble to make new friends, get laughs and meet girls. Shut up! Yes they worked! Yes, it was funny! We all laugh really hard when I  wear them!

Holy, honestly, I don't care what you are thinking! Okay? Ya they are silly looking and are work of context but you know what, they work. Ask your ma! Ouuuu sit down!

Now son/daughter, I'll tell you the story of how I met your mother after I finish up my post!

Everyone seems to be in love with spiderman because this the second time I wore this sweater to a "cold soda serving" establishment and people just gravitated towards me for conversation....and cold sodas, actually side note: made a new something something while sitting at the cold soda table, jäger and blue carcao...I called it, venom. BOOM!

Anyways moral of the story is, spiderman is awesome, my sweater is so good that people noticed the boots and the sweater but ony ever really mentioned the sweater, that's how appealing spiderman is.

I was also watching a movie called Heaven is for real, the only reason I could actually get that far through the movie was because they kid had the spider ensemble room going on, poster, lamp, toy, etc. I'm sure you noticed it, there was no way you couldn't. There must have been some sort of undertone cause the kid wanted to hold a spider as well as something on his bucket list sort of deal.

Something to consider next time you go out or go clothes shopping :)

Cheers!

Inclusion pt.2

If you made your way here by random happen stance, well just hold on a second :) you might like what I'm serving you up shortly :)

for those of you who found your way here by being attentive readers and followers; welcome to another part of my dream.

I have a dream! Young and old, grand child and grand parent; parent and child; uncle and nephew/niece; aunt and nephew/niece; step families; anyone really-coming together and binding over something they hold very dear to themselves or maybe they are just looking for a day time activity.

I talked about the idea of a comic book shop on previous posts that includes a coffee shop and what not. I also talked about how seniors are left out of popular culture more often than not these days. What if, I was able to instil my values of family and community togetherness through my dreams and passions? Sorry, what if WE could? You and I, and everyone else willing to of course, huh? What if?

How you ask?

What is one of the biggest gimmicks and busiest days in a comicbook store?

If you didn't get it, it's free comicbook day lol I'll post about it more indepth next but, for now all you need to know is that people can come in, get a free comic and hustle out. Super busy, lots of people, lots of younger folks, etc.

What if there was; k! No! You didn't guess it and don't roll your eyes! You had no idea. Shush! Eh!? Quiet will you!? In the one writing the blog! Frik, well before I was rudelyyyy interrupted! I was saying, senior comic book day. OMG! Okay seriously, I will ban you from my blog! Hard banishment! You ever been banished from my blog? Has anyone no! You know why!? Noooo not cause no one ever reads it, gosh you are rude! Ugh. Worst person I have ever read to by far!

Sooooo yes, free comicbook day for seniors only. Yes they can drive...yes they can read, seriously amigo!? I will end you!

Senior comicbook day with the exception  that if you are a youngster or under the ripe age of 30 and coming in with someone over thirty, then yes, you may come, but if not, you better go get your grandfather, your grandmother, a patient that you work with in a nursing home, something. If you want that free comicbook, you gotta earn it by helping us, help the elderly.

Ya, who is the silly one now, I'm just trying to help bring generations and history together in a common place over something that can be a shared interest and if not that, then just a nice free day out grabbing a book you can give away to your kids, or a friend.

I would run buses from retirement homes and have an RSVP list for any older folks who would be in dire need for a ride.

Seniors can come together with old friends, get a coffee, grab a comic for their grand kids or with their grand kids. They can remince or something, anything really. I just think you know what, quit giving spoiled kids and people who already have more comics than they know what to do with, the free ones all the time, give it to people that need it or people that it may just make them legitimately happier for being able to on e again feel younger.

Comics are for everyone and should be read by anyone who wants to read them or has like minded ideas to that of anyone who reads a comic. Why feed the addictions of people who can already afford it, why not market it to youth impact centres and schools? Okay ya two things there.

1. Copyright- schools won't want to pay for the service :(
2. Consumer adherence- usually the kids at youth impact centres are not updated on story plots or just may never buy a comicbook again.

But the chances and possibilities, even if it is a million to one, why can't we endorse it? Why can't we make the leap and maybe inspire the next stan lee?

Idk, the point I'm trying to make here is, include them. Look at the creator of marvel, he is one of the folks who can identify with the individuals that marvel and all comics has stopped marketing to.

Yes, they were marketed to once upon a time, they probably at least once in their life owned one of these 1000$ + comics that people so desperately ache to have (like myself) oh my god! What I wouldn't give to own an un graded copy of #58 tales of fantasy: the amazing spiderman. It is what is though. One day, it's a dream, but someone with a dream is someone working towards something. As for what? Darn, I don't even know yet :)

Cheers,

Truebeliever.

Coffee and comics

It's a thing. People always say, what do you want to do with your life. Ugh ever since I was a kid. Idk, then they ask what do you like.

I'm nerd of nerds :p not really but I like all the classic kid stuff and always will.

-comics
-superheros
-music
-hanging out

Most stores require you to but, that's where money comes in. What if a store just required you to be there?

Obviously purchases here and there would need to be made, but the idea of meeting collectively, meeting everyone like you, and everything different than you in one local hub. A private little slice of your own nerdyness.

What do you think then? A place where you can meet people, read of your favourite Heros, chill out and have a coffee as well as return later that night to see local band trying to make it big; take part in cosplay parties; even check out local artists trying to get signed to comic names.

A coffee and comic shop. I watched cbgb (story of hilly kristol) and ya I get motivated like this about a lot of different thing but I have two supports that are really pushing to have this done. Open shop in toronto, my aunt is a real estate agent, my mom is a financial genuis, and there is a world of lost puppies looking for a place to call home. Why not? Well start up costs.

Okay, so work, make money, invest it into this place and see what happens? Maybe take a loan?

Won't need a big staff, we can find sponsorship maybe? Take the shop on the road to youth impact centres to endorse reading and drawling or even musical ability in youth? Would that not be the dream?

Bank loan and property cost approximation 300,000? Maybe, maybe not high enough if we are talking about toronto.

The fun and easy stuff would be the interior decorating, use your imagination...cause whatever you are thinking, I'm thinking bigger.

Have barred and minimal windows to avoid broken window circumstances, but have a display front, basement style place with ramp access would be so clutch, but the again we are just starting up, so I'm on the fence, cosmetics versus free ads.

Everyone showing up would be on a membership system, if any...small membership fee of 1 dollar or so a month, as an approximation of it costs the store to have the membership thing; yes like a library, upon entering people will come sign in, they get either a personalized or hero specific mug or band specific mug, cause I mean, it's a conversation started, come on! They can buy comics or read comics while they are there, we can have a music library at any booths there (bring your own headphones policy), free wifi (unless we charge the membership fee then members get free wifi). We can sell homemade baked goods off the books so that way we can also give them out for free if we like. Concerts will cost at most 10$ if the band is well known. Setup and year down would be done in a time frame between shop front close and this would include moving tables out of the dance floor. Books would be behind bar area and on shelves which would be locked up each night.

Another cost would be royalties. Frik that might do us in, I don't knownhownjpnest it would cost to have comics avilable as a library setup. But I guess a way around it would be that if we personally purchase then and have them readily avilable as our own belongings being lent, avoidable law suit?

Maybe even just as simple as not advertising as a comic library and more as a comic and coffee house. Maybe even just have "demos" of the comics avilable for people who are not signed members?

The possibilities are endless, we could employ people who need the job and who actually want to make a difference, as well as endorse new and upcoming musicians and artists.

Someone stop me, I'm getting goosebumps. Could you imagine having the entire goosebumps library! Lol

Even have little TVs at booths with netflix or something so people could enjoy there. Lunch break coffee and an old television show or something. You know how many coffees it would take to complete a season! How many dates guys would bring girls on here!?

I think money is the only thing coming between this dream, and us. I'm going to start looking at costs and copyrights tonight :)

Cheers!

Possible future owner/co-owner of coffee and comics?

Carnage.

Cletus kassidy. Man, murderer and twisted version of venom.

Oroginally carnage came from the idea that Eddie Brock WAS GOING TO BE KILLED AND A NEW VENOM WOULD RISE.

Brock's popularity in the marvel universe rose an alternate symbiote was created, hosted by kassidy, carnage was originally going to be named "chaos", "ravage" and then it was settled with carnage....wonder how they came up with carnage? :p it pains me to say this but makes a lot of sense, apparently carnage was a character modled after the joker, yes the dc character.

Carnage has two egos, kassidy and a is nieves. With only one series in which his mad ball character partnered with anyone. It was the maximum carnage series of spiderman where canage meets shriek and together they recruit carrion, and dopplebanger spider man and green goblin.

Carnage is hosted by kassidy who is a homocidal psychopath who thinks "laws are only words". He had a brutal childhood and had no respect for any sort of authority. He was held on rykers island when he was first introduced to the symbiote. A fragment of the suit was left behind after the symbiote came back to save Brock who was kassidys cell are....wonder who was big spoon? :p

Carnage is the character that never dies. The bastard son of venom that comes back just when you think everything is fine and raises all hell. The most violent character of all the marvel universe that is kept alive time and time again. A killer to crazy to understand and a weapon that can never be broken. Carnage was hosted by tanis who was a scientist working for tony stark and used her to get back to Cletus.

Kassidy

Venom

Venom, formerly only as Eddie Brock, Mac graham and flash Thompson till they were exposed to an alien symbiote.

The symbiote is a black goo that chooses a host and becomes dual. So basically when you hear venom speak of we or us, he doesn't mean him and spiderman but him and said host, which at one point was peter Parker!

The character venom was created after marvel purchased the black spidey suit idea from a man in Illinois for 220$ ya...I know what you are thinking, where I can I send in costume ideas!?? :p

Contrary to popular belief, spiderman was taken to a distant planet by the beyonder and chose a machine that was said to be Capablenof reading your thoughts, it was probably not the correct machine but certainly gave him something useful, a suit, this suit could be any type of clothing, provide him with stronger and limitless webbing as well as hide itself from others. Parker gets the substance from the suit looked at by reed Richards who tells him it is trying to permanently bond with him as a host, Parker uses a churchc bell to rid his body of the symbiote since it is weakened by sonic waves.

How did it get to Eddie Brock? Well, after Parker ruined his career by not being the evil spiderman Brock was trying to make everyone think he was; he was falling down in life and ended up at a church trying to find the answer. When symbiote left spiderman, it found Brock.

Eventually the suit aids Brock in his life as a vigilante who, like the punisher sought captial punishment as vengeance. This led to a series of team ups of venom and spiderman.

Eddie Brock actually goes back to the symbiote planet and becomes captive by the symbiotic aliens on battleworld since he is deemed insane and they do not want Brock's symbiote contaminating the  larger gene pool. The symbiote was supposed to use up the host, not commit to it.

The symbiotic suit eventually takes on Mac graham a.k.a scorpion as a host for awhile as well until he needs it removed because of control loss.

Then flash Thompson becomes hired by the gov't to wear the suit and run operations, the suit can now be controlled on an off with anti-venom and other technological breakthroughs.

After him there are a series of venoms, one being the canonical "bride of venom" which is ann weying. Other venoms chose to be venom, this included a plot where Brock sold the symbiote at a super villian auction and where a mafia capo makes up for his petit size by obtaining this dangerous suit.

From there well, you have many fights and many venoms, but most importantly, comes Cletus kassidy. Oh yes, carnage.

Cheers!

The amazing spiderman

With great power, comes great responsibility.

Originally created by stan lee and ditko. Appeared in amazing fantasies by marvel.

Peter Parker was a young teenage boy when he recieved his genetically modified powers. His parents were forced to leave him after a fatal plane accident while returning from an operation under shield. Peter Benjamin Parker was raised by his uncle Ben and aunt may.

Parker's parents were Richard and Mary Parker. Richard was a shield operative when he met CIA shield operative (daughter of wild will) Mary to which they posed as a married couple when on covert operations.

Wolverine was captured by Von Krupp and was actually rescued by Parker's parents, in fact he congratulates Mary on her pregnancy when she tells Richard. The finisher ends up destroying a plane they were on as ordered by his boss. The remains are found yet they later appear in different series. They appear yes, but as LMD (life model decoys) which were created by oscorp to distract spiderman. Eventually Parker finds out they are not real and has a breakdown.

Classically, his uncle Ben is killed in the time that he becomes spiderman and the rest is as they say history.

Spider-man's abilities includes, healing abilities, web shooting, genius, spider sense, aerobics, fighting skills and wall climbing

Spiderman has always been and always will be my favourite.

Cheers!

Stan lee

The man, creator of marvel myths and the legend.

This 91 year old man (born December 28 1922) is a walking history book and a superhero to many in the fullest extent.

He has inspired many with his comics and over time, his tales just broaden and widen more than anyone could ever imagine.

Stan lee is best known for his work on marvel comics and his wild imagination that inspired other illustrators and true believers to be the difference in the world.

He began small time and worked a few different jobs as well as well many different people, notably the co-creators of spiderman, Kirby and ditko

The rest well as you say is history.

I just wanted to give a small background but before going into depth about marvel and the Heros in it.

Cheers!

CB
